Hemimorphite Cream Modern Washable Rug

Cream and soft grey carry the quiet base. A band of soft blue cools the middle. Warm tan steps in and keeps the whole thing friendly.

The edges of each band are loose and painterly, so the colours meet without a hard line. Stand back and the rug reads as one soft horizontal sweep. Step closer and you see the brush marks inside every stripe.

In a bright room the cream lifts the light. In a darker room the blue and tan give the floor something to hold on to. It is modern, simple and easy to live with.

The look stays calm, never loud. In the living room, set it under the coffee table and let the bands stretch out in front of the sofa In the bedroom, lay it at the foot of the bed so your feet land on something soft each morning. In the dining room, slide it under the table so the chairs sit on colour instead of bare floor.

At the entryway, it greets shoes, bags and wet boots right inside the door. Down a hallway, the stripes lead the eye from one room to the next. In a home office, it quiets the space under a desk and chair.

In a kids' room, it marks out a spot for blocks, books and floor games. On a covered porch or in a sunroom, it works outdoors too, so the same look carries from inside to out. Choosing a size is simple A long narrow runner suits a hallway, a galley kitchen or the strip of floor beside a bed, and it covers the path you walk most.

Two runners, one on each side of a bed, give you a soft landing on both sides. A larger rectangle works in the middle of a room. Put the front legs of your sofa and chairs on it and the seating area pulls together.

Under a dining table, pick a rectangle wide enough that the chairs stay on the rug when you pull them out. A smaller rectangle sits well by a door, in front of the kitchen sink or at the end of a bed. Measure your floor first, then pick the size that matches it from the sizes listed here. The design is printed with a high-quality digital print, so the colour comes out sharp and rich

The soft blue stays clean, the tan stays warm and the grey keeps its cool edge against the cream. Fine brush texture inside each band stays crisp instead of blurring, and that is what makes the paint-chip look feel real up close. The pile is 6mm, about a quarter of an inch, so the surface is low and even.

There is no deep shag to swallow the pattern. The bands read clearly from across the room, and the rug lies flat and neat against the floor. A durable overlocked edge runs all the way round, so the border stays neat and tidy. Cleaning is easy

The rug is machine washable, so when it needs a full refresh you can wash it and put it straight back down. For a fresh spill, a wipe or a quick spot clean with mild soap and water is usually all it takes, and the low pile means nothing hides deep down. That matters most in an entryway and under a dining table, where crumbs and muddy shoes land every day.

Day to day, a vacuum or a shake outside keeps the bands bright. Best of all, it does not shed and it does not fuzz. You will not find loose fibres or dust gathering along your baseboards, under the sofa or in the corners of a hallway.

The floor around the rug stays clean, and so does the rug. Living with Hemimorphite is a quiet pleasure The non-slip backing helps the rug stay put, so it does not slide when you walk across it or push a chair back. The 6mm pile is low enough for a door to swing over it, which makes it a smart pick for an entryway, a bathroom doorway or any busy room.

The surface is ultra soft, so bare feet, crawling babies and napping pets all get something kind to rest on. The overlocked edge is bound and clean, so the border holds its shape and the corners stay flat. It is pet and kid friendly, and it is built for rooms that get used every day.
