A winter sky seems to have folded into small squares and laid itself at your feet. Look closer and the cold turns friendly Pale ice blue, silver grey and snow white squares cross each other, with a hint of soft gold where the light lands.
Product details
The pattern runs edge to edge with no border. So what does a chequered rug like this say? It says calm. It says the year can slow down.
The crossing lines feel like togetherness: people meeting, staying, sitting close. Shenstone is a christmas rug that keeps its quiet even when the room is full. Where would it sit? Under the coffee table in the living room, it pulls the seats into one circle.
At the foot of the bed, it meets your feet on a cold morning. As a christmas runner rug it leads guests down the hallway or warms a kitchen galley. Christmas rugs for living room corners, bedroom sides, a covered porch: the same modern rug in many sizes, as an area rug or a runner rug. Without it, the floor stays cold and the room still feels unfinished
This one answers that. It is soft underfoot, low pile at 6 mm so doors open over it, non slip underneath, and pet friendly with a clean bound edge. A washable rug, machine washable, and it does not shed.
Care
Small rugs
If it fits in your washing machine, wash it there. Use cold water and a gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Lay it flat to dry.
Big rugs
A big rug will not fit in a machine. Vacuum it often. Wipe spills with a damp cloth, then blot it dry. Do not rub.
