Walk in and look down for a moment. Quiet squares are waiting there, calm as a held breath. Picture soft sage, faded brick red and warm oatmeal, with a touch of muted gold
Product details
The squares and plaid lines repeat edge to edge, with no border to stop them. The faded look is part of the design. So what does a pattern like this say? It says slow down.
Buffalo check and tartan plaid feel like a long winter evening, a low lamp, people sitting close. Sage brings calm. Red brings warmth.
Gold brings a small glow. Together they feel like home. Where would it sit? Christmas rugs for living room floors sit well under a coffee table.
This one does too. In the bedroom it waits at the foot of a bed. As a christmas runner rug it runs down a hallway or beside a bed.
It comes as an area rug and as a runner rug, in many sizes, indoors or on a covered porch. This modern chequered rug is a washable rug Machine washable, with a non slip backing and a low pile of 6 mm, so doors still open over it. Soft underfoot, pet friendly, and it does not shed. A bare floor stays cold, and the room keeps feeling unfinished
A christmas rug answers that, and the room feels warm, calm and yours.
Care
Small rugs
If it fits in your washing machine, wash it there. Use cold water and a gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Lay it flat to dry.
Big rugs
A big rug will not fit in a machine. Vacuum it often. Wipe spills with a damp cloth, then blot it dry. Do not rub.
