Entresol Taupe Washable Rug

It lies there, slim and quiet, with small ivory blossoms opening along the stems. So where did the room's hard edges go? They softened. The ground of this floral rug is a warm taupe that fades into ivory, like paper left in the sun.

That faded look is part of the design, drawn that way on purpose. Teal leaves travel along the branches, cool and clear, lifting the quiet taupe without shouting. Charcoal holds the thin lines steady, and soft gold warms the petals.

What does a pattern like this say? It says slow down. A blossom canopy drifts over open space, so the eye has room to rest. The branches reach, which feels like growth.

The blossoms open, which feels like a fresh start. Together they say the quiet thing families need to hear: there is room here for you. Can a floor really carry that feeling into a room you already know? Picture it.

Late afternoon, the living room, the lamp not on yet. The area rug sits under the coffee table and the branches run out from under it toward the sofa. Your child lies on their stomach with a book.

The light moves and the teal turns deeper. The room feels finished, and you did not change the walls or the furniture. What about the rest of the house? Step closer and you see more.

Fine brush lines run through every petal, so each blossom has its own shape. From the sofa the pattern reads as calm open space with art drifting through it. From the doorway it reads as one quiet picture.

A rug that changes with distance keeps a room interesting for years. Does it still work when the room is full of people? A runner rug carries the same branch down the hallway, so the walk to the bedroom stops being a cold strip of floor. In the bedroom it waits beside the bed for your first step of the morning.

Soft underfoot, warm, kind to bare feet. But a rug in a busy home has to do more than look calm, doesn't it? This one does. It is a washable rug.

It goes in the machine, so spilled juice and muddy paws stop being a problem. Machine washable means you stop telling people to be careful. The non slip backing keeps it where you put it, even when children run.

The low pile is only 6 mm, so doors open over it without catching. It does not shed, and the bound edge stays clean and neat. Who is it really for? For your people.

It is pet friendly and child friendly, antiallergenic and antibacterial, so the dog can sleep on it and the baby can sit on it. It works indoors and on a covered porch, where morning coffee tastes better. Taupe and ivory agree with almost any colour you already own, so it sits happily with wood floors, white walls, linen sofas and dark furniture.

Does it fit your room, though? Think of a winter evening with everyone home. Coats in the hallway, plates on the table, someone sitting on the floor because the chairs ran out. The branches hold them all in one soft frame, and the room feels gathered rather than crowded.

That is what this painted chinoiserie branch is really about: roots, renewal, and people together in one warm place. Where does it go first? It comes as an area rug and as a runner rug, in many sizes, so you can match the space you have. A wide one for the living room.

A long one for the hallway. A softer one for the bedroom. Entresol holds the same calm in every size.

And if you wait? The floor stays cold. The room keeps that unfinished feeling, the one you notice every evening when you sit down and something is still missing. It is a small ache, but it repeats.

There is no need to carry it any longer. Lay the branch across your floor and the room settles. Then the evening feels different, and so does the morning. Then it is simply yours

Warm, calm, quiet, with blossoms opening under your feet while the people you love walk by. The branch stays, season after season.
