The squares on this floor seem to hum quietly, like a blanket left out for winter. Where does that warmth come from? It comes from the colours.
Product details
Oatmeal and cream cross faded brick red, with olive sage and muted gold between them. The check repeats edge to edge, with no border, so the pattern simply keeps going. The soft, washed look is part of the design.
What does a pattern like this say? It says stay. It says sit down, pull your feet up, let the day slow. Check and plaid mean long evenings and people close together.
Picture your living room with one lamp on, the sofa and chairs pulled in, everyone inside the same small circle of light. Can a floor really do that? This one helps. As a christmas rug it warms the living room; as a christmas runner rug it carries the plaid down a hallway or into a bedroom.
Christmas rugs for living room areas get busy, so this modern chequered rug is a washable rug — machine washable, with a non slip backing and a low pile, so doors still open over it. It is soft underfoot, pet friendly and kind to children. Waiting only means another cold, bare floor and a room that never quite feels done Choose it as an area rug or a runner rug, and the room is finished, warm, and yours.
Care
Small rugs
If it fits in your washing machine, wash it there. Use cold water and a gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Lay it flat to dry.
Big rugs
A big rug will not fit in a machine. Vacuum it often. Wipe spills with a damp cloth, then blot it dry. Do not rub.
