Atlas and Celestial Globe Sculpture

A kneeling figure holds a celestial globe overhead — the classical Atlas.

The globe is banded by meridians and carries a raised sun-face medallion at its centre, with zodiac figures worked in low relief around it: a lion, a scorpion. The figure is darker than the globe, bearded, one knee down on an irregular rocky base.

It is a single upright piece, taller than it is wide, and it asks for a surface where it can be seen from the front.
